On the occasion of the school holidays, we organized the 2023 Vacation Plan for 40 children from 7 to 12 years old, all beneficiaries of our Proyecto Integral de Seguridad Alimentaria y Medios de Vida. The program, which took place on July 25, 26, and 27, and August 1, 2, and 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, includes several creative workshops designed to promote reading, visual arts, and music appreciation among the children. The content of the activities has been developed in collaboration with artists, musicians and artisans of Margarita Island, who are in charge of the workshops according to their specialty. The program of activities also includes a gardening workshop, which consists of preparing seedbeds and planting ornamental plants, with the goal of making the children aware of the importance of nature and the need to preserve it. The activities include transportation, food and materials needed for the workshops.
